TapTube is an Android app developed by SmartPlayland (#111 Innovation Hall, SoongSil University, Seoul, Korea JoyLoL Co.,LTD.).

TapTube first became available on 30 Apr 2015. It is estimated that TapTube has been downloaded between 1000000 and 5000000 times from the Play Store.

TapTube 1.6.5 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
